I have a Dell Latitide laptop and it's a little ripper, especially for only a P2 
Overall I'm pretty happy with my Dell.Unlike AMD,you can't burn up a P4 
Their "famous" support is not all that is cracked up to be.Better than most though and their site is pretty good for updating most drivers.
Its pricey,but you get what you pay for.Although I never understood how 6 months of AOL would help sell anything
You'll have to do something with that "90 day trial" of Norton AV.After the 90 you get a very annoying pop up every day reminding you to renew(pay) for your subscription.Usually right in the middle of that game level you are just about to beat for the first time.I uninstalled it and put in McAfee.
You'll need a copy of choice.com to get a .bat to work in civ2 scenarios under XP.I'll attach a copy here.Just rename it to CHOICE.COM(had to change the extension to upload).Keep it in the same folder as the .bat you want to run.

Dell computers suck. Got twice brand new Dell at work, twice were back within one month for hardware failure...
Beside that, your spec look interesting but will never be as good as a simple, huh, let's say 40-90-45 (Pentouse 4, double airbag front and rear, lot of "HD" space etc...), for instance. Trust me, kid.
