Now that the new Duke Nukem Forever trailer is out do you think the game will be out sometime with in the next year or so? I hope it will be released. As long as it does not suck when they release it.

Naming it 'Forever' was either a brilliant coincidence or some kind of evil joke... :crazyeye:

No. 2009 would be my bet. If they were anywhere near completion they'd be flooding the market pretty much screaming 'LOOK HOW GOOD WE'RE DOING!!'

It'll be out, but not in a year

2010, thanks to the developement of time travel in the year 3000, which will then be perfected, abused, banned, forgotten, reinvented, perfected again, etc etc several times over before the game is finished.

It will never be released...
Too many engine changes. The game would be obsolete the moment it comes out. To avoid the pain of releasing something like Daikatana, thy will probably scrap it for good next year.
It's sad, really... :(

It will remain vaporware. They've gave us trailers and hinted at release dates in the past. Nothing came to the shelves then, Nothing will come to the shelves now.

I'm pretty sure that it will come out eventually. I don't think something can be in development this long with continuous promises of release without eventually coming out.

That said, I'm also pretty sure it will be nothing more than an above average (if that) shooter, quickly to drop from the public eye upon said eventual release.

(insert generic Duke Nukem Forever jab grossly exaggerating it's release date)!

I'd imagine 2009 or 2010 will be more realistic unless they are farther ahead then they are letting on

It's vaporware, it will never be released.

The trailer looks like crap.....there isnt even any gameplay in it.

The trailer has several shots in game

The man in charge (whatever his name is) has stated that, apart from the weights at the start and end, what you see is what you'll get.
