Duplicate items in Hall of Fame

I have two copies of the same name under the Hall of Fame. Is there any way to get rid of the copy? In this case, an America civ is displayed twice (because I wanted to replay the game before the victory win).

I can't say it for sure, but under My Documents\My Games\Civ5, there should be somewhere a folder "replays" (or similar), in which all the files are stored. Delete one of the mentioned ones, done.

Nope, replays are replays, the file is indeed there, however is named HallofFameDatabase.db and is a "Database" file. I believe It can be opened with Microsoft Access or SQlite, but it might be encrypted. If you're going to modify it, make sure to do a backup, you don't want your HoF get corrupted, isn't it?

I have deleted the copy .Civ5Replay that I don't need, but it still shows up in the Hall of Fame. I guess I've to look into the .db file now?

Yep... If you got Microsoft Access you can try to open it, I haven't tried though, so I'm not sure. Remember to back up the file. If you're unable to open it, then we have to look for a special program to open it. Everything is possible.
