What model Dell? You can go to www.dell.com and in the top paft of the screen, right hand side, is a search box. On the drop down box next to the search button, you can select 'systems' and put in your Dell Model number. I'm sure there are pages there that can tell you what your model of computer has as far as DVD +/- R is concerned.
Worse comes to worse, you could always google 'system specs' and your dell model.
