E-Mails!!!!

i have turned off the get email notification feature, yet the mails still pour into my inbox.


Just yesterday, i deleted all 17000 messages i got from CFC, and i thought that i wouldnt get anymore....


Whats going on?

The button in your option just controls whether or not you automatically sucribe to threads in which you post. Toggling it to no stop more automatic subscriptions, BUT DOES NOT UNSUBSCRIBE YOU TO ANY THREAD TO WHICH YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY BEEN SUBSCRIBED. You have to do this manually in another part of your control panel.

Thats why I only subscribe to 2 threads. The whole time at CFC, only like 5.

BTW i deleted them all by putting 5 quarters on the delete button and it pressed delete automatically, i just walked away

Five quaters a? I have been using a box of staples when ever I need the button to be pressed while I'm busy but that keeps falling off the keyboard.

I mean in my email program, not on CFC. I pressed it on delete and it kept going, delteing them.

It used to be I was auto-subscribed to threads and I didn't get email notificiation--which was the way to go.

Now I'm not autp-subscrigbed, I get emails to the ones in which I subscribe anyway, and It's annoying. The only reason I haven't put Thunderfall on my block list is in case I feel like submitting more SOTDs.

Ok, when you get an email from CFC, there should be a link in it to unsubscribe you from that thread and another one to unsubscribe you from all threads. Click it. Be happy.

If I enter an invalid e-mail adress, would that solve the problem? I mean, so you don't get e-mail notification but are at the same time still subscribed to threads?

When you change email, a confirmation is sent out, so if you enter a fake one, you will not be able to log on until you have a real one. Theoretically you could just enter an email that took care of all CFC mail.

I just changed my email adress in the options, naervod, but I did not get another confirmation (time between change and now=15 min). So it should also be possible to enter a fake one.
