E3 2002: Scenario editor out as early as June

That does sound promising - and if they do indeed release a 'fully functional' scenario editor ahead of PTW then I demand that a few people here publically eat some humble pie!

Not to be to pessimistic though - but where did they say it was going to be 'FREE'? I hope that's what they mean, but the quote from Firaxis didn't actually say that did it?

everyone in this fourm, have you forgotten about triggers?

so, aren't they going to put in triggers (conditions/events that might happen in a scenario) into the new patch or thats going to be in PTW?

If Firaxis release a more functional editor (Civ & unit placement, mini map) next month in a patch, I would be happy. :) But they will get no complain from me if they do release a fully functional editor. :D

I hope they release this editor for free, because it's probably the one that was going to be in Civ3 in the first place, and maybe they didn't have time to test it etc. for the game's release. It probably won't be as full-fledged as the one in the ex. pack, but it HAS to be better than the one we currently have.:)
