NOTHING TO SHOW HERE... Reason: I made a map for an Earth 1600 AD scenario, but it's not showing up when I start up CiV (I put it in Maps, copied it in MODS, but no go)...
Any suggestions on how to continue are most welcome, as the map is in an advanced state. :dunno:

EDIT: OK, Here's the current (Alpha) version:

It's simple : you drop the map file in Maps folder of "Expansion Pack" Folder, this folder is placed at same level as others "DLC" in "DLC" folder of Civ5 ;)

If it is just map, place this in "Maps" folder, you certainly how to make then...

Like it is a scenario, you select your map and after you activate "scenario", and voilà !

OK, but where's the Expansion Pack folder located? I don't see it under the main CiV folder.

It's really simple...

You open the DLCs Folder

Then you will see DLC1 DLC2 DLC3 and Gods&Kings is treated like a simple DLC

The architecture of "Expansion Pack" is a copy of vanilla Civ5

nah dont put it in DLC folder, could you possibly just upload the file too see if everythings allright with it?

or just make sure you put it into the right direction on XP -->
\My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\Maps

As said, that's where the file is. I've attached it to the OP.

Noone can tell me how to proceed? I'd really like to complete the scenario, considering the amount of time I already invested in making it... :(

The game should really see your map when you put it there, are you sure it's not on the list in advanced setup and in normal setup when starting the game through the Mods menu? (It can be out of the alphabetical order.) If it's really not there, then perhaps it's a problem with some registry settings or something like that...

Alternatively, you can create a mod containing nothing but the map (add it to the 'Content' tab as map, and set VFS to true).
