I have to be honest and say that this map is not that great... what have you done with england and scandinavia? Especially England. Other than that you seem to have gotten it right perhaps too much resources in America, but havent played a full game yet so i guess i might be wrong

I opened the public map file with notepad and the text came up. And I changed China leader type since it was renamed in 1.61

I had a go at this map, my first go at a custom map and I was enjoying myself, playing as the USA. I expanded so much that I had about 30+ cities covering the entire north american continent and was in the renaiisance era. Then the game crashed on me. I tried again and the same happened. I tried again just before the crashing point, checked the memory usage (ctrl+alt+del) and over 800 megs of RAM was being used to run Civ4, along with my CPU running at close to 100% for an extended period!!. I have a Pentium 4 2.6Ghz with 1GB RAM and a 256MB graphics card and I was having trouble running the map, I am wondering what kind of machine you need to run it??

My main problem is with the Civ4 game engine itself, it can be so slow sometimes. I only get to play it for an hour a day or so, on this map, I only got about 10 turns in, the moves were so long!!! I might just go back to playing San Andreas, that was waaaay more fun than this, this game is just way too slow for me

I was wondering where you put these maps at. I have downloaded this one along with others and I cant seem to find the place to put em. I put em with "PublicMaps" and "_Civ4CustomMaps" and neither have worked. Thank you
