Since the new update, Fandamntasic looking mountains and shading between grass/forest etc. What are you using for a map generator and then editor?
No just manual edit

Hi Niust. Great map! One question though: I like the barbarian civs but I don't want the AI to create additional barbarian civs during the game. Is there a way to avoid this?

What do you mean just "Manual edit." I do not even have a map generator, isnt that needed to even start making a map, or am i way off base? Tried editing this in a different generator/editor and came out error all the time, thats why i am wondering.

Two suggestions:

Moscow's spot would be a lot better if it had a food resource, like a deer/sheep/pigs. That would let it be a goood mixed cottage/production city instead of having to choose one or the other, and Russia is not nearly as loaded on resources as pretty much everyone else.

Also, the reason Spain and Rome never do anything is that the barbarian cities of Carthage and whatever is in Morocco break them. The AIs go into 'enemy unit near' mode, probably because they can see the city, can't guard against it, and it's technically on the same landmass. I blow away those 2 cities when I play so that Spain and Rome at least try to improve their land.

Nice map overall. Edited to add: Specifically, I like that resources are split out a bit more now, and that the US midwest is a great food area instead of a so-so one. The flood plains near China's starting spot are kind of crazy though, especially that flood plains hill (3f 2 h 1 c) which had iron pop on it in my game, making it and absolutely absurd 3f 6h 1c.
