Earth scenario starting locations?

Hi everybody. After hours of poking around I have found myself completely unable to make Civ3 start a game on Earth with the myself and the other civs where they're supposed to be! I want to be the Romans in freakin' Rome, not North America. I'd imagine (hope) that there is some simple button to press that I'm overlooking, so sorry if this question seems stupid. Still, any help you can give me would be much appreciated.

It will not work with the included scenarios.

You'll need to download one from the Customization and Creation section.
I'd suggest saved game maps however all of the maps are on the monarchy level if your up to it.

I'm sure there are others, I havn't looked in a while.
