Anyone know what the jaimo unit is? I found it in my extras folder and I know I haven't downloaded any new units. I certainly didn't create it. I have been fooling with elvis and trying to figure out if there is a trigger for it maybe I did something. I'll post more info if I can figure out what I did.
I may be alone in this, but here goes:
Does anyone else miss the 'Council' from Civ II? Yes, they got pretty annoying sometimes, not to mention cheesy. But I still laugh when I think about the Entertainment advisor saying something to the effect of "I don't mean to be steppin' on your blue suede shoes, sir, but a land without luxury is like a hound dog without a bone... just ain't happy..."

Well I still haven't figured it out exactly but it has something to do with the date. I changed my computer's date to elvis's 100th birthday and started a game. Out popped the jaimo unit into my extras folder! I don't know what date triggers the jaimo but elvis's 100th birthday does the trick.
Can someone else try this? and if you know what the jaimo is, let me know

Maybe it happens on Elvis' birthday every year?
I tried a bunch of of other years on elvis's birthday and still got the jaimo unit. Then I just tried some other days and got the jaimo on them too. I guess it's not triggered by elvis's birthday but I got another surprise when I played regicide on his birthday
After changing the date a bunch of times it looks like the jaimo appears every time I change the year. It doesn't pop out in 2002 but every year I tried after that caused the jaimo to appear. It didn't seem to matter what the month and day were set to.
Has anyone else tried this? I have no idea what this unit is supposed to be but now I'm really curious.

Perhaps this is the trigger. Aw, shoot. Now I have to try this...

Yes, after changing my computer's date to Jan 8th, 2035 the "Jaim" program has appeared in my extra folder.
I think this is the trigger for the Elvis "king" to appear.
Gonna try it now.
And btw, one side effect of changing my computer's date was expiring ALL of my stored cookies.

I think you only have to change it to 2003 to get the jaimo btw
