Easy Access to civpedia?

Well in civ6 I just could click on unit icon to get info from civipedia....

Yeah if you're expecting quality of life stuff like that from 7 you're gonna have a bad time. The civilopedia doesn't even have links to other pages. It's trash and usually better to get your info online. I spent twice the time studying that I did playing my first game.

But to be more charitable we are comparing civ 6 after years of improvements to very early 7.

Agreed, fandom is my favorite site for specific info, although I have bookmarked various other articles from several websites too.
 
Civilization 2 had a hyperlinked Civopedia out of the box in 1996. We arent splitting the atom here, the design is painfully negligent. We paid $80-$120 and were offered a $30 DLC with four new nations and two leaders, but they couldnt throw in something that has been in the game for thirty years. Talk about predatory monetization...
