Editing city names for Gathering Storm

Am I right in thinking that to edit city names for GS all that has to be done is to change the city names in this XML file:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization
VI\DLC\Expansion2\Text\en_US\Expansion2_CityNames_Text

Yup. Also we have a Creative and Custmization Subforum that'd this could also be asked if more questions are needed.

People say you sholdn't modify base game files but if you know what you are doing you'll be fine. It's harmless when it's mere localization.

There doesn't seem to be a "move thread" option under thread options, so hopefully a mod will move the thread if it needs to be moved.
