I have a problem connected with civ3 editor. I would like to know how I can manage if I want to have exact nation in exact starting location? FE I want to have Romes in exact starting location in Europe and Americans in exact start. location in the north of America etc. How can I do it? Is it possible to do it?

active player-set active player-select city size-place city.
that is the surest way to make certain that all civs will start where you want them...

I am not sure I understand... Because I still don't know how I can build (place) the town or city. I can set player and then? I don't know where is the chioce with building the town or city...? So...?

After you set the player there should be a list of layers on one of the top toolbars, if you select one of the icons to the right of this section then you should be able to place cities like terrain.

I can set active player but then I can't do more. I haven't any choice of placing city. I can make desert, grassland or irrigation or mine etc. but I have no choice for city? Is there any properties where it is forbidden?

top toolbar icon with a small city on it /next to the place unit button

but first backup your .bic or .bix file and name the new one "test" or something before you do anything else...

Maybe I am hopeless stupid map maker but I have no icon with this choice or selection. I have a classic civ3 editor version 1.32. I can't find this possibility where I can place the city.
Maybe You can send me a scenario with cities and if I see it maybe I will more clever. If you want you can send an email (with or without map) to my new email adress: dp.troy@email.cz

I think it isn't important what version of the game I have. Because it is the problem of editor. I hope. I have cersion 1.21(f). Deal with classic civ3. Everybody said it was easy to place the city in editor in my created map. So could you anybody try to expain how? Thanks once again.

Do you want to place cities or starting locations? That's two different things.
If you set a start location you can right click it and choose civ.
