Educational games

I'm right now working on an educationally-oriented Civ V mod, and I'm starting to think this is the sort of thing I want to pursue, either as a career or a very serious hobby. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how to start looking for educational game jobs. I'm about to receive a degree in history, so jobs that are looking for comp sci-related fields of study are out.

Where would be a good place to start looking? Who could I contact that might have a better idea?

The makers of education games. Google 'educational games companies'
and maybe call them, ask them how to become a game designer for their company or something.
