egypt ua - can build all wonders

I agree on the sole basis that Egypt was a monarchy and should be able to build Pyramids while going Tradition. That ability would remove the biggest nonsensical element of the game in one simple and unlikely to be OP swoop.

I like this addition to the Egypt ability a lot, actually. I think it's fitting, it removes the illogical nature of Liberty pyramids, it's not overpowered (and if it is, the bonus to building Wonders could be reduced by 5%), and it's unique and fun.

with another civ, having as many wonder bonuses as possible, their ability fall down to 13%

+15% from marble, +15% from monarchy in tradition, and +20% from golden age. the last 20% for egypt is still important for a single wonder, but a scientific lead can make up for that, and where are far to many wonders for egypt to get them all anyway.

It's not like you have to complete a tree to unlock a wonder. It's part of the opener. And you don't need to complete trees any more for a cultural victory. So if Egypt wants to build all the Wonders that are locked to trees, they just need to hit the openers. The only ones they can't do are the two associated with the ideologies that they didn't take. No big loss there.

So by this logic, the suggested addition for Egypt would be a very minor non-impacting change that would add flavor (and particularly remove the situation where the Pyramids would rarely be built by Egypt)?
Why not do it then?

Egypt+marble+Aristocracy= 50% :c5production: Production when building Wonders.

We are playing a game where as Mongolia, I could build the Great Wall, as the Inca, I can build Alhambra and as America, I can build the Kremlin.

It, again, is a big change because you are effectively imposing a rule on all other players that Egypt just gets to bypass. You effectively erode the whole point of tying Wonders to SP's; to reduce wonderspam, to reduce the power of the all mighty beaker. What point is there to making The Great Mosque of Djenne, the Hanging Gardens, the Pyramids and the Statue of Zeus tied to tech and SP's, preventing players from getting all of them, if a civ can just bypass everything and get all of them anyway.

Most importantly, giving SP's and Ideologies Wonders gives them a point now that they are no longer connected to the cultural victory, aside from the minor bonuses associated. By letting Egypt bypass it, you could just as easily ignore Culture until late in the game, when you really have to, especially with the Burial Tomb covering for happiness.
