Couldn´t this be too many maps ? I mean if you try all these maps, you can play El Dorado until 2050 (or so). Wouldn´t a "best of" of the 5 best maps of El Dorado not much better for the acceptance of this mod ?

All worlds have long been created. I just need to fine-tune a few settings in each one and import the rules with the editor.

I'm not yet fully satisfied with the coasts / sea / oceans, I'm not sure I can do much better though. Then I'll have to go back to the volcanoes before moving on to the overlays (roads, rivers, etc).

To have a Gorge, Deep Canyon or Valley show better Depth, make the colors darker the deeper they go and the higher elevations lighter. Also keep in mind the direction of the Sun Light.

Thanks for the words of encouragement, but I stopped working on the mod several weeks ago because it seems that you are the only person interested in it here, unfortunately.

I might do a few card conversions from previous versions of Eldorado, but without the mod's specific rules. That way, they'll be playable with the base game. If people are interested, I could also import hundreds of cards of various shapes that are never created by the Civ3 random generator.

The community has been shrinking in the past few years. There are probably a few hundred left of us. I get it I am working on my own texture pack and I've gotten only a few replies mostly from the few hardcore civ3 players currently active. I'm taking my sweet time and I'm making it for my personal use, though I will upload it once complete.
