Elephants!象

Phoenicia doesn't have an Elephant unit. It's India and the Khmer. I'd much rather the elephant units stay unique though to make them more unique than other unique units.

Despite I'm senior player in Civ V, I just began to play Civ VI this week and make a confusion with Dido from Civ V who has African Warrior Elephants XD

Now I'm playing CIV VI vanila and I just can use Elephants with Gandhi, but if I play as Gandhi, with who I will have a nuke war in late game?

And Indian and Khmer elephants are already very strong, an elephant for everybody can be way more weak than their.

Yes, elephants were used by civilizations that had access to them, and relegating them to unique units is missing out on an opportunity, but there are only so many spaces for strategic resources on a Civ VI map.

Go play The Old World. You'll be a happy fellow.

Okay, well I believe Siam also had access to Elephants in Civ V.

As I said, I'm not sure how they would make regular Elephants units mechanically different from India's UU. In Civ 4 all Civs had access to elephants and as a result India got a fast worker UU.

Civ's like India with the Elephant and Spain with Horses could/should get some higher number of resources from those strategics, or just a 'freee' copy of those resources.
