It's hard by only skinning to do something that looks really like an elf.

Not a n00b question at all, better to ask and know than shut up and screw up somebody's computer.

In the file Civ4ArtDefines_Leaderhead.xml, change the link in the <NIF>tag from the original leader head to this file.
