Jones is bothering me by saying there is nothing to talk about. I alreadyu told him the results of the bordcer and tech deal. Do we have anything else?
 
Yep we need to discuss the tech deal. What to we send and when and how to get the wheel which we darely need. Also, wanted to say hello to MoC and their new officials. It is a new term afterwards. But if they think there is nothing to discuss, so be it.

MoC? What is that?
 
There will be no chat tommarow. C3B is revoteing on the tech deal. Some of the wanted to meet the new goverment, but Cat tells me that most of them do not speak english. Next week's chat also still has to be confermed.

I need some answers on why we do not wanna reserch. Also how we intend to keep up with C3B.
 
So, they just are wondering how we can keep up with their research pace. But so far we have been probably researching even faster than they are with them having literature. :lol:

I'm very much inclined to believe they have little knowledge about the game. Usually, on that size of map and difficulty, Libraries don't help a lot before Education to research. Also, we are industrious with many workers and have roads almost everywhere. Another important thing is that corruption is hurting at this stage and decreasing it is a priority. Instead, rushing to build as many Libraries as possible would be suicidal.

If they are worried too much about research, they should have gone to Republic instead of Monarchy. And we are not going to outbuild them with Libraries since they get theirs at half a price. With the same success we can ask them to irrigate everything so that they would be able to catch up with our population growth. :lol:

IMO, Bremp is the only decent player in the whole team. They should talk to him instead. He can well explain that in Portuguese.

But truly these are just a few aspects, there are many others.

Edited: Just to put it short: It is not their business to worry about our research. They should worry about their own.

Bremp knows english IIRC, but he is not that active due to "personal problems" They worry because if we are not putting money to techs, it may go to the military.
 
Our budget is classified and it is not their concern where we are putting our money. Be it tech or military or something else. The problem is that so far, they owe us techs. They better worry about this aspect. BTW, Currency is ready to be shipped in exchange for the Wheel. After this they will owe us 10 tech points. These people are just plain crazy, we cannot make deals with them on a normal basis. And they have not built the harbor yet. This is plain ridiculous.

They better stick to their word than worry about where our cash goes.

I guess this sounds like a war talk.

It does seem so. If they are incapable of sticking to deals this early in the game, then imagine what they will be like when the tough stuff happens. I really do not want to imagine that. If they are not reasonable now, they cannot be reasonable in the future. Let's make them worry about our military
 
I think we need at least another person doing the chats with EMP. Do you remember how upset they were when we "Ganged up" on there ambassidor? It seems to me they didn't let Emp get a word in edge wise and they put him on the defensive when there was no need.
Emp shouldn't be strong armed into explaining our plans to them.

EMP when is the next chat scheduled?
