Embassy to C3B, Term 5 - Coming Full Circle

The letter is good and diplomatic enough but my only concern it that would it oblidge us to do something? We don't want to have any obligations towards C3B except ongoing deals.

Nope ,none at all as we are in the position that we always acted towards that strategy and have the moral upper ground in alliance diplomacy so far.It forces C3B to trust us and not make them question to much about our millitary as well as forcing them to do better and more flexible diplomacy towards usand recognize our rights or otherwise been seen as an uncooperative ally.

It basicly says: Look ,were always been a good ally to you ,you have been a questionable ally to us ,get youre act straitgh ,don't whine to much to us and give us what we are entitled to for the sake of the alliance.

I like the lette, but I think it is a little to long :p. Seriously though, it is a great letter, I like how you say how good this alliance will be for us.

At this point i really think C3b doesn't want war but rather wants to be the more powerfull player on the continent ,they see we might be matching them in power and certain elements of their team don't like it ,cry for war and make the leaders make decissions that make them poppular.
Sounds like they want to attach the puppet strings to us, huh?

That IS exactly what is apparently desired up there in the north. Either we behave or test their swords. But this is not diplomacy, this is blackmail which I hope will not be tolerated.

So far, their military buildup has been pathetic. Rough estimate suggests they can have no more than 10-12 maximum 15 Immortals. This number we can chew and spit out on the defensive easily.

yeah I'm not concerned

Yes, so we should not surrender to their blackmail in any case. On the other hand, war now would mean a great setback for us apart from having the greatly desired Golden Age now. Hence, if they want to attack, they are vey much wellcome indeed. On the other hand, we don't want to attack them now, that is for sure. Apart from war happiness, they get their troops in their homeland ready to heal whereas we would be forced to wage offensive in enemy territory. Basically, what we have now looks like a stalemate. Tension is accumulating but neither side want a serious setback by mobilizing all their force towards destruction of the opponent. lol, I'm starting to talk like Duck now, so better stop.

OK, the letter has been sent. I have found a few more typos and added signatures. Here is the final text:

To: C3B Government and Citizens:

An explanation of Fanatikou's Strategic policy and its relevance for the CFC-C3B alliance.

To promote the relations between Brazukas and Fanatikou, we hereby present this text. The objective of this text is to inform C3B of our strategic intentions in this stage of the C3C ISDG2 game as to leave no doubt about our fundamentally good intentions with this alliance justifying our position in diplomacy and military as it is.

Ever since the extinction of GCA of the face of our planet, we are presented with a situation where 4 nations are alive in the game. The objective of this round of the game is to eliminate 2 of the 5 teams so to allow 3 teams to progress into the finals. Geostrategically, we are presented with a situation of 2 continents each harbouring 2 nations, with the continents so far not knowing each other’s position. This results in a unique strategic situation, which leads to certain conclusions made by our team well before GCA was dealt its final blow.

Optimally, it is in the best interests of both our teams that one more nation would be eliminated on the other continent, as to let both our nations progress to the finals.

Fanatikou consequently wants to work towards the goal of getting another nation eliminated on the other continent, by which we see our alliance with C3B as instrumental and preferable, as to use our allied strength to reach that goal.

An immediate conclusion therefore was made towards the importance of exploration, as to find the other continent. The benefit of being the first to find the other continent is in our opinion huge and determinable for the course of this game.

The reasoning is that a nation from an other continent finding the other continent, would be well able to (in combination with a solid alliance at it's home front) divide the teams on the other continent to create a 3-way alliance with one of the other continent's nation's to eliminate the other nation on that continent. As logically, any nation could be easily convinced that should an alliance of another continent be able to reach it's continent, AND a 3 way alliance could easily eliminate that leftover nation which would be in the obvious benefit of all 3 nations AND that failure to step into this 3 way alliance of the just found nation would mean that the other continents alliance could easily form the 3-way alliance with the other nation on that continent as thus meaning it's doom.

For the alliance of the continent that finds the other continent, it would be a very positive position to be in when the 3-way alliance, as they can virtually achieve a position in the finals with about no risks as the war of 1 nation elimination would be fought on the other continent. It would be a virtual guarantee of survival into the finals, a guarantee that can be achieved by merely finding the other continent.

One could argue that the nation that finds the other continent could use this advantage to create a 3-way alliance against the nation on it's own continent, but logically this would be a much less preferably approach that igniting war on the other continent, as that nation would put itself in a logically larger risk should it be loosing against that nation after all .In the other case a nation thrown in the 3-way alliance with teams that are on the other continent and yet loses the war anyway, could be easily abandoned as defeat of that civilization would still result in 3 teams left where the nations that found the other continent will still be alive ,yes it even allows for alliance shifting.

The strategic conclusions from our team for our alliance are thus easily explained. From a strategic point of view, we would always find a war between our both nations as most unwise, the much more preferably situation would be that a war arises on the other continent logically. We also believe that a war between both our great nations would only result in a quagmire, were perfectly confident in our strength and are more than interested to constantly enlarge of military in favour of creating a strong alliance that can together deal a final blow to a nation on the other continent. War between our nations would only result in weakening of both our nations, less exploration from our teams and as thus the possibility that the other continent finds us first thus being able to use our weakness to finally eliminate easily on nation on our continent, Which could be easily our nation as well as your nation, in such a scenario no nation on our continent would survive a 3-way alliance of the other nations.

We are looking forward of seeing C3B's strength of immortals engaging in glorious war of elimination on the other continent, sided by our glorious troops.

We come with this letter due to the recent diplomatic evolutions between our both teams, we believe that relations are slightly deteriorating, however that so far Fanatikou has always presented itself as a cooperative ally within our alliance as we find it ultimately strategically most wise to build up a strong alliance between our both nations.

We would like to ask Brazucas to have more trust in it's ally that is increasing it's strength to the benefit of the alliance, to put more haste on fundamental alliance cooperation like building a harbor for the trading of luxury and coming to terms with trades of technology that can only benefit both our nations, and that in general Brazucas would be less nitpicking on which benefits it gets from diplomacy as a solid alliance needs more understanding and flexibility between it's partners.

In more practical situations our wishes can be explained by our long acting ambassador EMP, I hope the fundamental bases of this text can make Brazucas understand our strategic vision at this point.

With respect

Government and Citizens of Fanatikou

IMHO, we need to decide:

1) do we go to the chat? or cancel it?
2) if we go, what should we tell then?

I think we should go, and pretend eveything is ok. Then maybe we can catch them in the act. But either way I don't really care, no chat=less work for me :p
