Did anyone ever play this game back when it was available from Avalon Hill?
I never did, but always thought it sounded interesting.

I couldn't help myself and just bought and downloaded a copy. Problem is that it looks like a complex game; they appear to be following the original rules very faithfully. Can anyone give a noob like myself a rundown on the fundamentals as I sort through the voluminous instruction manual?
