; Enable D3D9 Queries
D3D9Query = 0

The above is one of the configuration settings. Anyone know what it does?

Reason I'm asking is because DX10 is on its way and I'm wondering if this config is going to cause a problem. I know some people have been testing Vista and been having DX problems. Perhaps this query should be turned off?

I think it relates to the D3D9.dll file as part of the DirectX. It isn't as far as I know a critical file but this setting should be turned off as it can hinder the framerate as it issues queries which then have to be answered slowing the processing down. I think it is used more in the debugging side of running programs.

I don't think that dll file will be part of DX10 anyway.
