Civ 4 should have the ability to creat slavers and enslave the citizens as in CIV call to Power. There should also be an abolitionist as in CIV Call to Power too. Then when Someone complete the GREAT WONDER Emancipation Proclamation then if that civ had slaves, the slaves would assimilate into the civilization. If Another CIV had slaves then they would riot. All being the same to CIV Call to Power.

Sounds good all these kind of extras can really add alot of flavour to the game. I for one hope that the tech tree is greatly enhanced in Civ 4. As it can slow the progress of the game down and allow distinct periods in the game rather than just one blur that can often happen. Events caused by what you have just described are like sub games within the main game itself.

I agree that more techs slow the game down.
That is exactly what CIV 4 needs. For instance i started a game two days ago and finished it yesterday with DOMINATION. Maybe if there were more techs then the AI would get stronger units.
This also falls into the fact that the AI needs to be more resourceful and more strategic.

Runaway slaves would be a cool option. That and an underground railroad.

I like the underground railroad idea.
Give the civ's spy the ability to steal slave workers from other civs and turn them into settlers or citizens.

Meh, why not make all units be able to enslave, as most earlier slaves were POWs.
