EQ's Plexus' Prohibition

THE IRISH BROTHEL

A pair of Irish ditch diggers were repairing some road damage directly
across the street from a whore house.

They witnessed a Protestant Minister lurking about, then ducking into the
house.

"Would ye look at that, Darby!" said Pat. "What a shameful disgrace, those
Protestant Reverends sinning in a house the likes of that place!". They
both shook their heads and continued working.

A short time later they watched as a Rabbi looked around cautiously
and then darted into the house when he was satisfied no one was looking.

"Did ya see that, Darby?" Pat asked in shock and disbelief, "Is nothing
holy to those Jewish Rabbis? I just can't understand what the world is
coming to these days. A man of the cloth indulging himself in sins of the
flesh. 'Tis a shame, I tell ya!".

Not much later a third man, a Catholic Priest, was lurking about the
house, looking around to see if any one was watching, then quietly
sneaking in.

"Oh no, Darby, look!" said Pat, removing his cap, "One of the poor girls
musta died."

Only 4/12 sets of orders. Some more would be preferable.

@ryaz: I’m not sure what you did wrong in your math, but you WAY overspent. Only three speakeasies was built and the thug was not build either. 200 more credits were taken from bodyguard spending, because you ordered the same movement twice which I believe you may have done by accident.

@orangelex: not sure what you’re talking about with 2 square movements. Units can only move one square at a time, but you can “slide move” by having others stationed ahead and moving them up, while replacing them with new units. Therefore only two thugs were moved into the new territory in the north.

@germanicus: All units except hitmen and burglars can only move two squares a turn. I'll be modifying your orders to fit.

That's what I mean by two squares a turn.

As you can probably tell by now, a war between our two families is completely undesirable at the moment. In order to maintain the peace between us I propose setting up a Staten Island alliance between the two of us. You can keep the Grin Gang's old territory that you have recently captured, and we will have their home square. There are much bigger enemies in New York City than the two of us, and we need to focus our efforts on them, not on each other.

In addition to a peace alliance an economic one could be beneficial as well. We will sell you 20 units of alcohol every turn for 200 credits, or 10 credits per unit of alcohol. A great deal on your part.

What do ya' say?

Requesting that the cost of running the distillery be automatically subtracted from my income, in the future.

You appear to have lost your supplier. Sorry about that. Our standing offer of 12 credits per unit is open, though, and we expect to have 20 spare.
