I recently found this online game called eRepublic the other day, which is a game with the ability to play a citizen in a virtual world. The scope of it's amazing; you can create newspapers, join the army, get a job, buy companies, and even rise to be the president of your country, waging war and peace with your neighbors! It's completely free to play, but you can buy extra gold and unlock every feature in the game with real money. If you are buy-a-phobic about your games (like I am), don't worry, every feature can be unlocked by itself, and the only thing you have to buy with real money is extra storage space.
