Errors Running/ Uninstalling

When I try to run the game, I got a window titled "XML Load Error" and the text says "failed Loading XML file Assests//XML\gameInfo/CIV4PlayerOptionsInfos.xml."
After hitting okay, another window says LoadXML call failed for GameInfo/CIV4PlayerOptionInfos.xml. Current XML file is : "

Then when trying to remove the game I get a window telling me that error (-5005 : 0x80070002) has occurred.

When trying to load I get an error message Data Error (cyclic redundancy error check). I have no idea what this means. Can anyone out there help.

I cant uninstall for the same exact reason. Mine wont run either. did you manually delete the game files like i did?
