Escape From Zombie Island 2 ready for public consumption

A Padre unit might be cool (bombardment with holy water?).

I've never seen a graphic either. Just want to play. Authorities, I think, or Company... probably Authorities. :)

Won as the Survivors, I was able to establish a Parts colony and repair a couple helicopters. It was a lot of fun and a good challenge, and I've lots of room to up the difficulty level and try again. Then I won as the Zombies, quicker and less of a challenge but it was still a blast sending my shambling hordes around and eating everyone.

You could add a pub to the map and have Booze there which makes people happy and a Barman unit

armed with a shottie like moe (from the simpsons :))?

Yep that would be great, cause every good zombie movie has to have someone with a shotgun.

I'll look into that, thanks.

Actually it is called Acolyte and Monkfortify.wav is the 'latin' prayer as is the Monkvictory.wav while the 3 attacks are very deep atonal sounds

Yay! More zombie-fighting! :)

I've begun a game as the Authorities, as planned, Regent level. So far I've been able to preserve my forces but not contain the outbreak.

I withdrew from the Hospital and Garage to the Radio Station - I had to choose between the Hospital and the Radio Station, but decided I preferred a territorially contiguous 'safe zone' (the entire safe zone outside my buildings is swarming with zombies, except I cleared them away from the Military Base), and that I don't mind more variety of appearance among the zombies. Hope I don't regret the choice.

I went for Call 911 first, to start rushing reinforcements, then Keep Them Out. I can't seem to build a Barricade at City Hall, but all my other buildings on the island are barricaded now. Researching Martial Law.

I'm too impatient to wait until I can get heavy forces to begin the counter-attack. I'm going to try to push back the zombies, maybe out of the South-East corner of the island, link up the Military Base with the rest of my buildings.

Sounds like a cool idea.... I'm a big Army of darkness, dawn of the dead, shaun of the dead fan...... :p

Uh oh. You do know that you'll now be facing hordes of Zombie Nurses!!

It's the hordes of Monster Zombies that scare me!

The zombie dogs are also rather upsetting, and I don't mean their smell.

Even after the arrival of a Tank Company and the provision of air support from the mainland, I'm barely hanging on... I've had to use nukes twice just to drive the Zombies back from my buildings. Also had to divert precious F-15s to shooting down bats, an occupation that has given rise to a lot of complaints from the pilots.

I'm having so much fun. :)

2nd Tank Company (4 tanks, 1st is up to 6) is arriving, I've tasked a small infantry force to assist in trying to take the Airport. I need to start swinging some of this island under my control, especially now that the Survivors and Company have been wiped out. (At least none of the Survivor buildings were captured intact by the Zombies.)

I just saw a terminator running around shooting zombies ...

btw is there any chance of adding sound to the national guard unit?

The National Guard is one of the Conquest units: WWII Paratrooper to be exact and doesn't come with my download. I can provide you with a new INI file to put in that unit's folder however? Or you could fiddle with the INI file yourself if you know how.

If it is not too much trouble ... please sent the file ... btw how did you go with the acolyte?

EDIT - Do any of your zombies 'convert or infect' other units to become zombies as well? If not that would really add a B-grade realism

I've only got 3 outposts left as the Authorities ... I'm scared ;) ... well done

Infection? Oh yes... be very afraid!

Oh, a hint. If you name your units, don't use the names of TV characters you really like... you'll be crushed when your elite, 5/5 SWAT Izzie Stevens is killed and zombified by a puny ordinary zombie that only had one HP at the beginning of the battle.

Bah... if I wasn't stuck at school I'd see if I could contain the Zombie outbreak. I need more nukes!

By the way, is there any advantage to the ICBM over the tactical nuke?

I've attached the file. You need to unzip into the WWII Paratrooper folder found here: C:\Program Files\Infogrames Interactive\Civilization III\Conquests\Art\Units\WWII Paratrooper

I haven't d/l the MoM mod yet but I will.

Zombies, Graveyard Swarms and Mutant Zombies turn defeated units into the basic Zombie (3/2/1). Monster Zombies produce Mutant Zombies (5/4/1)!

Only that ICBMs can hit any square on the map, however, Tacticals can hit any square within Paradise City which leaves only 1 use for an ICBM- preventing the Survivors getting a victory point win :)

Tac Nukes do as much damage and are cheaper so I'd suggest build these and keep 1 ICBM in the bag for the above reason. Of course if the survivors get wiped out you don't need any ICBMs at all unless you really hate desert islands.

Thanks for the .ini to get sound for the national guard units ... I will test after I have finished with Corporation ...

>Love the Security guyz ... had 2 of my 'Mr. Smiths' discover and sanitise a foul zombie nest ... also i have an urge to get my temperature checked by those comfy shoed zombie nurses ;) ... well done :D

EDIT - Just noticed that the science/tax slider seems to re-position into a default level after every turn
