I have an idea: What if I - for the next version of the mod - made some new roads. But this time, instead of being "Roads", the roads are a part of the basic terrain (could replace desert or plains). Then "Roads" could be invisible and cover the whole island from the beginning, so all you would need to get a resource would to have it inside your border or build a colony. Or would this make it too easy to get resources? To make it more difficult, you could rename the roads to "safe path" and give all units the ability to perform all kinds of worker jobs and give them the "worker" AI strategy. But all worker jobs - exept build roads - would require an unresearchable (is this a proper word?) tech. So to get resources, your military units would have to make sure that the road to the resource is safe (the "build road" order could be renamed to "secure area" or something like that). Of course, all units should have the "pillage" ability.
What do you think, KingArthur?

Everything was pretty good and the Authorities were alot easier to play,but I hate the new sneaky zombies,allways attacked when u least expected
 
Hi, KA, did you change the game around? because when I played as Survivor there were only 4 tech that appeared, and the rest just disapperared. Keep them out, keep the lights on... even the big finale... is there anything wrong? can you give us a list of things you changed?

I was a stupid moron and broke it!!!

You need to download the biq_patch zip file from the first post (only 19KB in size so very quick to download). Apologies for any inconvenience
 
I didn't feel the Survivors needed any changes. The major changes are to the Company followed by The Authorities...

thanks. Sneaky zombies make Dogs and Spunky kid units more important now. Their stats aren't any different from a normal zombie so they're still pretty easy to kill...
 
uhhh...I know this is troubling but could Goblin Fanatics writes some description about some characters, like the Dr and Director of the Company as well as the General and mayor of the Authority maybe even the zombie too. But only do it if you have time. Thks

I already did a desc for the company head of security Darryl Panie, didn't it reach you KA or wasn't it appropriate for the kind of guy you wanted?
I had a desc for company director turning into the manbot, i'll chop some parts out and leave the bits about the guy being a cold hearted bastard despite being cripple or something.
Other descs, yeah i'll do them.
I think i'll describe the zombie kings as the first specimens and write about how they were created.
How about giving those guys some individuality?
Since they are the first victims of the zombie virus maybe they already mutated in some strange way?

I'm back from Lapland,everything was OK at my family's cottage and the nightless night was again very great to see,now I feel like trying out the scenario again :)
 
Just finished my game with The Company(Movie was unrated :) ),and it was so entertaining game. Dr.Lazarus really kicked some zombie ass :ar15: .Anyway it was really good update,but I think that the next update needs some polishing(Civilopedia texts and tech stuff),I noticed that the Blackops don't get paradrop ability,what was pretty disturbing.
 
Right now I am playing the Authority but I couln't see the sneaky zombie, I know F-15 can see but It takes so long, but I just found out the robber is invisable, and that the MArine and special force rocks..I think maybe Paul Snake can have radar since he is in special forces?

where are the movie thearters? I saw it in the civilpedia, is it in cinema?
 
@Goblin Fanatic - A farmer would be fun as an extra unit for the Survivors. I got the HoS pedia text I must have overlooked his pedia entry. I made Doc Lazar upgrade to the Manbot so I left out that particular description.

@Spetznaz - Black Ops don't paradrop but they should. I gave them airdrop and an operational range of 5. I'll need to look into that.

Authorities are pretty hampered when it comes to seeing Sneaky Zombies - the only see invisible unit they can access is the Guard Dog but they need control of the Dog Pound for that.

The robber isn't invisible but he is hidden nationality so you can expect the other factions to shoot at him if they find him on his on own :)

The special forces guy could have radar I suppose, good idea.

And yes, The Movie Theatre is in the Cinema.
 
Those sneaky zombies are such a pain! :lol: I love the update.

It'd be neat if Snake had radar. Give the Authorities a chance. (Except he's dead in my game.)

Or I could take the Pound... nothing in my way except one or two million mutant zombies!
 
I am playing the game with the authority, almost done, considering that I finish the zombie and are patching up the company(secret lab is all they got)
all that's left is the survivors, who isn't a threat at all. I don't know if it's jut my game but Survivor are in very sorry shape conpare to others. They are still using the survivor by the time I first got the marines... :D

btw, I found the car guy to be useless since he can't move at all, can only be defending I guess, but I like the car really useful, and can run over the sneaky zombies, don't even know it's there but that's cool.. :p

The funniest part is when my tank was killed by the company security :king: man what KIND of gun are they using :)
 
O just wondering, has any one of you EVER encounter a monster zomibe? becuz I never saw one nor the bat. hmmmmm

what's the zeb's farm suppose to do? Just another building?

O and I read most of the civilpedia text for the tech. It's very well written I really like it. :)
