Establishing Embassies

Now that we've met everyone on our continent (I think) and have somewhat of a treasury, I propose that we start establishing embassies to cement our political status. I don't think we should establish them all at once though, only one at a time. At this time however, I really don't have a preference as to which nation to establish embassies with first, so please feel free to input your ideas.

IMHO, I believe we should only be spending gold for an embassy with the Iroquios nation. We will possibly need them as an ally against the Romans at some point. Sandwiching the Romans should be a priority for us. FA should look into this.

I prefer embassies ASAP. It lower's the tech prices if we buy techs and increases the prices they are willing to pay for our techs. And it improves relations.
Another benefit from signing early is that the later in the game an embassy is made, the more expensive it gets.

Actually I really don't have a comment about this, but I will poll it.

If we do, we should definately do Babylon first. Especially since we still haven't actually sighted their capital.

I think embassies earlier are good way to go and epi's suggestion for babilon seems quite good.
We should anyway establish embassies with all civs and babs are good choice to start. Its probably cheaper than iroquies which are too far.

Also, lets not forget that we get a free city view of the capital when we establish an embassy with another nation . I would recomend that if we do this that we should also have a screenshot of the free city view screen .
