every lan pc need CD?

hai.. i'm about to play multiplayer game. i'm newbie here

ok 1st what i want to know is, in the LAN multiplayer, we can have a AI and human eg. 4 human and 2 AI. am i right?

do we need CD for every PC for LAN game?

1. You can have up to 6 AI opponents in multiplayer (please correct me if I'm wrong).

2. Yes, you need a CD for each PC.

o ic.. my friend dont have civ3 PTW cd.. may b i need to copy it..

how about if i patch PTW with the no cd patch? can it be possible to play MP without CD?

I don't know. However, that technically falls under piracy and as such is not allowed here. That would include copying the CD, or using NoCD patches.
