Civilzation V: Expanded World - Designs (CIV5:EW)
These Civilization designs may be implemented into a mod I'm planning to make. This thread is here so that I may get feedback on my ideas and Civilizations before they are made. If you want to use any idea here then please contact me and I will respond with a Yes or No depending on my interest in making it.

Denmark (Canute IV the Holy)

Unique Ability: Divine Legitimacy - 25% of the civilization's faith :c5faith: is converted into Happiness. Every specialist in the holy city provides +2 Faith :c5faith: and +1 Culture :c5culture:.

Unique Unit: Bishop - Replaces Missionary. Spreads religion 15% faster and gives +3 Faith :c5faith: and +2 Culture :c5culture: every time it spreads the religion.

Unique Building: Chapel - Replaces Shrine. +3 Faith :c5faith: per turn and Border Growth speed is increased by 15%

Spain (Phillip II)

Spoiler :
Unique Ability: Wealth of Grandeur: Gain +2 Gold :c5gold: for every caravan heading to other Civilizations. Gain 60 Gold :c5gold: every time a world wonder is produced.

Unique Unit: Great Trader - Replaces the Great Merchant. Gain 10% more gold than a regular Great Merchant and can produce a unique improvement known as the "Trading Ground" which aids the closest city with +6 :c5gold: per turn.

Unique Building: Cuartel - Replaces Barracks. Units gain +35xp for every military unit produced in this city.

Iraq (Abdul Rahman)

Spoiler :
Unique Ability: Militaristic Force: Coups gain a +2% chance of success for every militaristic unit that is garrisoned. Gain Military units from Militaristic city-states 25% faster.

Unique Unit: Gāšim - Replaces Spearman. Has 16 :c5strength: unlike the Spearman and has no extra terrain costs.

Unique Building: Sūq - Replaces Market. Produce +3 for every trade route established with Militaristic and Maritime City-States.

Good lord some of these are unbalanced. 25% of faith into happiness? Is that per turn or the amount you have in general? Either way thats way too powerful, you can easily hit like +100 faith per turn in the late game and +25 happiness is just silly. Plus missionaries spread religion instantaneously so faster conversion means nothing as far as I can work out. The general idea of the civ is actually really nice and it all goes together well but the numbers are just broken.

Also for Iraq which Abdul Rahman are you talking about?
 
Must second the numbers are ridiculous. That Cuartel is 3.5 times better than a regular Barracks. Also, wouldn't Cargo Ships make more sense than Caravans for Phillipe?
