I figured I'd post this here as the general forum for BTS didn't have much in the way of response, and then I remembered this is where all the number crunchers are.

I'm basically just looking for a quick and dirty rundown of the experience points required per unit level for a charismatic leader versus a non-charismatic one (eg, Charismatic = 2, 4, 8, 13, etc... Non-Charismatic = 3, 5, 10, 16, etc...) for as high as is feasible to obtain.

I couldn't find this in the War Academy or the Promotions or Units areas of the Civlopedia. Can anyone give me a hand with this? Thank you in advance!

non-charismatic = ((L-1)^2)+1
charismatic = roundup((3/4)*(((L-1)^2)+1))

L is the level you want to reach
the amount of ex. is the total amount you need to reach the level

To get N promotions requires (N^2)+1 experience points for a non charismatic civ (so the first promotion needs 2, the second 5, the third 10 and so on). For non charismatic civs multiply this by 0.75 and then round up.

2, 5, 10, 17, 26, 37, 50, 65, 82, 101 (Standard)
2, 4, 8, 13, 20, 28, 38, 49, 62, 76, 92, 109 (Charismatic)

Thanks goes out the FFH2 manual for actually listing these numbers and not the formula which I can never seem to remember.

For the standard progression you start at 2XP and add 3XP to get the next level. Each level after that you add the next odd integer in sequence (+5, +7, +9, +11, etc: 2N + 1 where N = current experience level with 2XP equaling level 2).

Subtract (from the break points) 25% of the standard amount, rounded down, to determine the charismatic break points.
