I am fairly versed in matters military, but I am stumped by the abbreviations used in the US Military, ie E6 etc. Could one among your ranks please enlighten me, so my research, study, and understanding can somehow progress. For reference, try gtjs00's topic on "Brothers in Arms". I don't know how to link it, but it contained a lot of stuff I couldn't understand.

Also, why do you blokes say "Lutenant" when we say "Leftenant"?

The Poor Military -- When will we realize that fighting each other is not the way to go?

Mankind has had to create the Most Destuctive force ever known to keep others at bay, and still we have armies.

I have an IDEA!
lets just live in peace and not fight against life anymore.

Maybe we could educate the masses so that they could live in harmony?

NO NO you will say -- WAR is lots of FUN.
Mankind will fight again - you all will forget the first day you stepped on the field of battle and felt it's terror.
