Fact or Fiction: Basilikoi Paides works with unit purchases

I've seen this going around but have been unable to confirm this. The problem is the game doesn't show progress of current tech and maybe I don't have enough gold to make a difference to reduce by a turn. Can anyone confirm?

The game does show progress of current tech, you just need to make sure you have the World Tracker panel enabled.

If the unit is cheap, then chances are it is NOT going ot make that much of an difference. It depends on what era you are in.

Just chop in an expensive naval unit with the 100% card and Magnus.

Referring to bought units atm.

Guess had to test it out myself. Left sailing 1 turn away and bought 2 archers... no effect

Switched to another tech next turn and chopped a warrior.... well there goes your science boost.

Confirmed fake news. The building only applies to built units.

Also the world builder is so hard to use. I gave myself 99999 goild and it just crashed. :/ So instead I just started this game above on settler.

Use FireTuner, not World Builder, the World Builder is just way to unstable for actual scenarios.

Also, I think I actually knew that it doesn't work, it's the same way that Scythia's double horse units don't count if they are purchased.

I wasn't aware there would be a difference conceptually. But I suppose the game must have weird code.

Some things don't work with Firetuner but work in the normal game. Has someone confirmed this through normal gameplay?
