failed to uncompress game data

so basicly i can't load a single game that had more than ~10 turns in it, when i try to load it it gives an error "failed to uncompress game data" and crashes to desktop. i noticed it's a very rare problem and that some people have already mentioned it but no solution was found. also i have civ 4 warlords with latest patch and the game have previously worked without any problems on the same pc.
any help plz :[?
