Failed to uninstall

I experienced a lots of crash afterwards add Scipio and others Realism Epic as consecuence tried to uninstall Civ 3 but failed to did it; a windows appeas error number 0x80040702 description: "failed to load dll DSETUP, setup will not terminate". I appreciate any help because I cannot clean my mesh and reinstall a fresh game. The game now dont play. Surely I made some mistake trying to add Scipio Game Mod.

If it won't uninstall, but won't run, you'll need to uninstall manually, and wipe it totally off your system, then try and reinstall from the CD. Here is a thread that explains how to do that.

If, upon trying to reinstall after you've wiped it off your system, you still get that error message, try reinstalling DirectX. You can install version 8.0a from the DirectX folder on the CD, or download 8.1 from MS's Web site. The .dll it's trying to load is for the installation of DirectX, so I'm assuming that if you wipe Civ3 from your machine, install the latest version of DirectX, and run the Civ3 installer, it will ignore trying to install DirectX.
