If this is Gods and Kings and religion is a part of the game, then there should be a religious victory... right? Is there a way to mod that in?

I would like to play a game where I go for runaway faith and try to get everyone to convert to my religion. Could be fun.

I actually wouldn't mind that at all. Though I do often try and dominate the religious map if I have a civ that can do it, I would like for that to be some kind of a victory condition, they'd have to make it something like once you convert everyone, or at least a large enough percent of everyone, you can build a religious building to seal it (just like the utopia project, for culture).

There's been countless threads about a religious victory already. I personally don't get the appeal of it, but there's no reason you can't set out to convert everyone to your religion already as it is while pursuing another victory type.

The faith system already incorporates numerous ways of tailoring religion to existing victory conditions, which is more interesting than just another "Produce X amount of culture/science/faith" victory types (which is essentially what the science and culture victories amount to). Case in point: It just took two uses of Interfaith Dialogue on a pop 12 city (with the assistance of the 12 science a turn bonus from my Messenger of the Gods plus trade routes with all of my cities to move from 5th to 2nd in Literacy in a couple of turns.

No. Please No. the AI already has enough to deal with.

If it's ever included then it'll be the first time in my entire life time playing civ that i'll be forced to turn off a victory condition.

Good point. The AI can't even handle the current conditions all that well... maybe giving it one this open-ended would be a mistake.
