If I only had a sniper rifle with me I could make out what the figures are and shot them from a distance.

I plan to pull out my pistol and aim for the closest zombie that comes near.
 
Mid Range
Since the zombis are approaching at mid distance you can spend plenty of time Aim and are allowed to Fire shots at the MAXIUM possible chance of hitting.
This gives Lozzy (16) max (-3 distance penalty)
This give CivGeneral (12) max to hit the head
(Means using AIM for 6 consecative times giving you a bonus of +7)

Combat
CivGeneral: Pistol .45 (13) 3+4+1 = 8 Pass
Damage x2 Head 2d6+2 = 8 = 16
Lozzy: Pistol 9mm (16) 5+5+5 = 15 Pass
Lozzy: Pistol 9mm (13) 3+2+1 = 6 Pass (At next target)
Damage x2 Head 2D6 = 5 = 8 (-2 AP from Metal Fire helmet)
Damage x2 Head 2D6 = 10 = 20

CivGeneral Hit hes target squarely on the Head blowing its brains out.
Lozzy also hit hes target in the head. The Firemans zombi has a metal Firemens helmet which deflects some of the damage, It collapses on the ground but a moment later stands up again and begins it's advance. Taking a snap shot at the last standing target Lozzy nailed it dead center putting a bullet right between the eyes.

Lozzy your down to just 4 shots only
Civ General has 7 +15 in loose rounds as well. Reloading those loose rounds into hes pistol will take up a whole round of combat.

Perfection yells out "Its gonna take at least and hour"

GM
The last Zombis is now within effective combat range of your pistols. You can elect to fight in which case set out you combat moves.
Round (1) Ranged
Round (2) Close combat / Ranged
Round (3) Close combat / Ranged

already behind the zombis in which you have dropped more are appearing, A brief count shows another five more have appeared.

Lozzy: +60exp
CivGeb +50Exp
 
I'm gonna go and look at that engine, and hope for a miracle.

I advise CG to deal with the last zombie and then help Rats.

If we still can't fix it (which there is a large chance we won't) we might have o hide in a building.
 
And I sincerely hope this doesn't die as well :(.

I think Perf and Rats are on holiday, it may be best to use them as NPC's for now...
 
Well real life intrudes.

The game feels empty with only two players and a GM.
I had hoped to conclude at least the traning and day 1 before people lost interest

Time for a big update

Takes aim at the closest zombi. After taking a hit from Lozzys 9mm to the head it seems to be struggling to rearch you. The Firemans helmet must have resisted most of the force of the slug, and prevented an outright kill. Its movements are all slow as if it is mortally wounded. Surpisingly or not its simgle mindedness drives it relentlessly towards the group.

CivGeneral Aim
CivGeneral Pistol .45 (11) 2+5+4 = 11 Pass
Damage x2 Head 2D6 = 20 = 18 (-2 AP from Metal Fire helmet)

The fireman zombi collapses like a sack of meat onto the road. This time it dosent move from the spot.

Lozzy:
Runs over to try and get the car started. Jumps into the drivers seat and trys starting the car with both Perfection and MrRats working on the engine.
Perfection is working on the sealing the smashed radiator, fan and egine front, Mr rats is busy trying to get the motor to restart is working on the battery.

Perfections: Mechanic (14) 3+5+4 = 12 Pass [+10exp]
mrRats: Diagnosis (12) 4+2+3 = 8 Pass [+10 Exp]

Mrrats tells lozzy to start the engine, Sweat pouring down Lozzy trys the ignition and the car starts, briefly before dying again,
Lozzy: "we nearly had it just a little more"
MrRats: " I'll help perfection"
Perfection: "No No What ever you just did made a mess here, pipes and patchs I had put into place arent working, this isnt working."

As if to highlight that it is hopeless. Perfection quickly packs up hes tools and prepares to make a run for ir.

Here they come
Civgeneral who is now providing cover fire for the group watchs in horror as the five zombis in the distance are now joined by a sixth, With more pouring in from the houses and many moving shapes in the distance.

CivGeneral "Five, Six, Seven, Eight, EIGHT more incoming with at least twelve more behind them, I cant hold them its impossible"

GM Perfection has made the decision that the car cannot be fixed and is prepareing to make a run for it. Without Perfections mechanical skills it would be impossible to get the car working.

I then turn and run the opposite direction to the zombies, hauling Mr.Rats off of the car as I go.

We should find a builiding to hide in, perhaps the one we came from...

"We better find cover. Something that would bottle neck the flow of zombies." I said as I take aim to the next nearest zombie.
