I figured since it may not be the best idea to discuss making a seal for the nation of Fanatika in the flag thread id start a seal thread :)

Here is my idea for the seal some things are missing and god knows i may not use the stuff in the middle just yet just posting what ive got so far :) For the banner how about We came, We saw and We conquered, in latin of course

 Looking good :goodjob:. How did you create the seal :).

Simple circles and a filter that made the bigger circle gold, te rest was just plain old photoshop injinuity

Excellent work. Have you tried any motto's yet?

if anyone has one in latin that will work ill add it, as long as it fits in the aloted space :)

Do you know what the Latin phrase is for strawberry-filled doughnuts?

we had some proposals in the flag thread. they need translation though.

like:
"the will of the people should be our prime law"

why latin? I think german might be more appropriate. Don't want the romans getting uppity!

how about: Ich bin ein berliner = "I am a doughnut"

or so I've heard ;)

We would never be able to travel to the middle of the world then.

I would so prefer the motto:
the will of the people shall be supreme law

which would propably go to:
? populi suprema lex esto
whatever "the will" means maybe we could also have it like
? sprema lex esto
when we winf out what "the public opinion" means

Love the seal! Though it is "Fanatika", not "Fanatica" :)

Though I think our latin motto should be more along the lines of:

Through Chaos comes...more chaos

or maybe

Victory, Death, or a good PI!

Look at it from the prespective of a visitor. What would you think of a civ who's motto was 'I am a doughnut?'

Hey, it worked for JFK... :p

I don't know much about american history, but I'm pretty sure JFK was not a doughnut.
Wasn't he a pastry of some kind?

"Ich bein ein Berliner"

"I am a jelly pastry" (or so the urban legend goes)

It was a miss translation. He wanted to say "I am a Berliner" but he accidentally added a word, "ein" or "bein" (I'm not sure which), which turned it into "Jelly Doughnut." BTW: IIRC it was Jelly Doughnut, not just doughnut.
