From what I know, 'salus' may translate a few different ways.

It would be "Jelly Doughnut" to Americans, and just "Doughnut" to British people (like me). Over here, the ones with jelly (or "jam", as right thinking people call it ) are considered to be the standard doughnut. IIRC what you guys call "doughnuts" we would call "Ring Doughnuts".

To move this firmly back on topic, I think we need to standardize on the official Fanatika doughnut. I think it should be in the form of what north americans call a crueller (not a ring) and no jelly. However, a glaze is acceptable. To avoid confusion, I think it should be commonly referred to as a "long thin Fanatikan doughnut", or for short, "doughbolt" (alt. spelling: dobolt).

Thank you Octavian for keeping me up at night pondering the doughbolt conundrum.

The dobolt can be featured prominently on our seal (ha, didn't think this would get on topic, didja?) and for our motto:

Dona Nobis Doboltum
