In most games i'll "farm" - that is, intentionally not kill units with one unit to let another unit get experience - only with Siege units. Getting a catapult to a level 2 promotion of Shells makes a much bigger difference then other units getting a second promotion. The other units I want the promotion as much to heal the unit as to improve it.
