Farms?

Can you still build farms in civIII? I could in Civ II and i see what i think are farms on screenshots at the site. How do you do that?

Maybe your thinking of irrigation? The farms are just what irrigation looks like in some graphics mods.

I liked the double irrigation the way it was in Civ2. Made the world look more modern. With the modpack, irrigation looks like farms even in 4000 BC which wasn't sok realistic.

farms have been around since 7500 b.c apx, there is evidence that people farmed wheat and barley on the fertile crescent and there is proof that the Ubaidens were farming by at least 4000 B.C apx. So really its not that unrealistic.
