I can tell you that many people with anime/manga　avatars are not foolish and silly. Even FoxMcCloud has an anime character on his avatar and I dont precive him as foolish and silly.

I don't really have a favourite avatar, which is odd considering I spend a weekend trawling through most of them when looking for inspiration. Most of the one's I like have been mentioned though

SuBi's Super Beaver is also very good. Perfection has done wonders with Switch's old avatar. I liked TheStonesFan paper bad guy too.
