-----> Mine is Rome, because I have studied them and I like the city names and the Legionary kicks ass. I haven't played with them in a while, though.

2) What is your favorite unit?
-----> Mine is either the Mounted Warrior, Legionary, or War Elephant.

3) What is your favorite celebration (Promotion)?
-----> EASILY the Mounted Warrior, when he leans back on his horse and makes that indian noise. So cool.

4) Who is your favorite leader?
-----> Caesar, easily.

Aztecs. The city names are largely unpronnouncable, the Jag is pretty useless except for scouting (with its new cost, anyway), and their neighbors are powerhouse AI civs if they're allowed to prosper...but they've got style.

2) What is your favorite unit?

Out of the unique units, I favor the Byzantine dromon.

3) What is your favorite celebration (Promotion)?

I like the Jaguar Warrior and Mounted Warrior celebrations. I think the Jag throws his blade into the air and catches it...


4) Who is your favorite leader?

Montezuma. See my sig. Spain is also fun.

Artillery. Makes industrial era war so much easier.

The guerilla's death scream is the best. It sounds like he's got something squeezing out...
I like the sound when a pikeman attacks.
The infantry's death is also entertaining. He flops back like his back was broken or something!

1.- The german, their scientific and militaristic trait are awsome for civ 3 vanilla, their only weakness is worker speed, but you just have to built more of them. Most of the time i wont even built temple/cathedral, but only library/marketplace/courthouse /coliseum then 10 % on the lux slider. their cheap library/university combine with a low maintenace cost allow me to conquiere luxuries while my reasearch is sky rocketing.

Think about it, german got cheap barrack, cheap harbor, cheap library/university/research lab and they also got a free tech in each era, and also they generate elite units more often, i had so much great leader with german knight in many game.


2.- The knight, i am a knight warmonger , knight are the first effective attack units IMO, they move 2 ( 6 with road), attack is 4 but also defense is 3. It mean they can move into a.i. territories and most of the time ended on a hill or forest to have a defense bonus, you cant do that with a combo pick/longbow. Knight also sometime retreat if redline, so you loose less units. And i had so much great leader with german knight that nobody will make me change my idea on that.

3.- lol a funny one, i dont know, maybe the marine scream.

4.-My favorite leader ? me of course.

1) I like the Mayans. Quality traits, cool city names and Smoke-Jaguar looks P***ED when he's angry!

2) War Elephant. That extra HP is great when you have a SOD full of them. Invincible!!

3) War Elephant again. No-one wants to hear that thunderous trumpet unless they're on their side.

2) Cavalry - game ends when I get them.

1- Japanese - just love their history. Their traits also suit my game style.
2- Gallic Swordsman - great attack, good defense, excelent movement, at the cost of a regular swordsman. I don't need anything else!
3- Samurai - just love it!
4- I like Gandhi, Temujin and Montezuma.

-The celts
-The samauri has to be the most useful, i find the Hwach'a and the War elephant sweet too. The berzerk looks REALLY funny when it runs around w/ the huge ax.
