Well???

I'd have to say I like Communism the best coz it is so easy and simple, you dont have any city disorders coz one unit is out of its home city, its just so easy going!

What about everyone else?? Any comments? Whats your fave and why?

In peace time I like democracy. In war time I prefer communism (no senatorial interference).

Democracy for all the times, peace or war. I'm a peace seeker. Of course sometimes a little bloody (nuke) war is necessary to maintain peace

Republic with Womens Suffrage of course nice and easy to make wars then. Remember civI whereby if you didn't get Womens Suffrage you were absolutely screwed. You forget there were no poilce stations back then.

Don't agree. Republic has corruption, which implies you have to built courthouse...

Democracy in the end of the game (last 150 turns)
Fundamentalism in the war period (bribing cities)
Republic for the other time, with courthouses in all cities.

Why Republic + courthouse, since Democracy offers you the same advantages, for cheaper? (no courthouse, no cost)

Fundamentalism. Instead of wasting money on Temples, Cathedrals, and Coloseums, spend it on Libraries, Universities, Research Labs. This will jack up you science rate. Convert citizens to Scientists rather than Entertainers or Taxmen. Also remember, Fundamentalism brings in tons of money and you don't need support for most of your units.

I personally use Democracy for it's political reasons and UN advantages.

I have strong appreciation for the corruptionless governments. In a serious game I usually have many cities spread all over the world and I prefer to use Democracy and Communism to maximize trade. I really liked Communism after the Fascist Patch when they made it so that Communism got ten free units/city. But I reverted it back to the standard form because I didn't really like the Fascist Patch.

Communism for war, Democracy for peace.

I like Fundamocracy! No unhappiness, phenomenal growth, super science rate, and rolling in cash!

Well, OK, so it's not real, is tantamount to cheating, and would totally unbalance the game. I can still dream, can't I?

I like the one I suggested for Civ 3 (or 4): Commonwealth. With Commonwealth you can have provincial governments. So with a large city base, you can have one group (say on one continent) as a Democracy, and another group as Fundamentalism, all at the same time. The Democratic state can fund the militant one.

Hmm, that's a funny one, but I think too impractical. Where does this Commonwealth come from? I mean, did you think of it yourself, or does some nation have it?

Depends in the late game in war or peace I prefer democracy because cities can't be bribed. In mid-game I prefer Fundy for war and demo for peace.

You must play stiffs.

I prefer communism, if at war.
I count on there being war.
Fundamentalism is ok, if you can steal tech.
