Favourite unique unit?

The Conquistador is definitely my favorite, but I've never used it in a proper unmodded game.

Cossacks definitely rule too, as do the Keshiks and Gallic Warriors

Definately mounted warrior. Much cheaper than galic swordsman. Who cares about extra galic defense. Can retreat/upgrade to calvalry. All great stuff.

i love the cheapness and effecience of the swiss mercanery..cheap and effective defender. Great when u are still building up an empire and need all funds u can get. the 1 less def compared to musketman is nothing if it costs a load less..after all..i got other units for attacking

i liked the koreans hwa'cha.
lethal land and sea bombardment.build tons of these and u dun need to build an offensive unit again!
but the patch took away the lethal land bombard IIRC.
never d/l it.

next will be the german panzers.
build these and watch the riflemen and infantries fall like dominoes!

and of course the sipahis.their offense are so strong its obscene!

Hmm... this is a toughie, I'd say the Germans, because of their Panzer tanks, but then you have to wait ages for them (Industrial Ages), but I find the worst to be the Americans, as they have the F15 Fighter plane, which isn't very good.

Celtic swordsman: good attack rating and speed above all, very important in the ancient era.
Berserk: by amphibious attack allows to conquer distant strategical resource.

Sipahi is excellent especially in an army. Javelin thrower and immortals are good to but they may cause an early golden age.

The mayan Javelin thrower - that enslave ability is so useful early - free barbarian workers and 2/2/1 is balanced if used on weakened units + good D as spearmen.

OK GA is early but the ability to wipe out your big continental rival (Inca) and bottle up the other (Byzantium) is worth it.

Could of wiped out Theodora with my 20 + Med inf and 20 Jav but I would have gotten lonely until nav. And she is so .......

Ended up with dom vic before flight.
