FCC: Rushes in Itakaji province

This is being posted by MOTH with the approval and authority of the Domestic Ministry.

DP will have discretion to "short rush" any of these improvements where the build will be completed within 3 turns. I think this only works in Roma and Baldur's Gate as they have the University available towards the short rush (and maybe Yatta if there is something else available that will get close (Colosseum?))

Interpretation of the Poll:
Part 1: any option receiving at least 50% of the vote will be approved (but not necessarily funded).
Part 2: Any vote for a high amount will be considered approval of each lower amount. The highest amount that has 50% approval will be accepted for funding. Ex: 10% vote for 5000G, 40% vote for 4400G, and 45% vote for 2000G: 4400G would be approved.
Part 3&4: Comments posted will be considered when determining overall results.

blackheart (Domestic Minister) has suggested an amount of 2000G should be approved.

Provolution (as Military Advisor) has suggested 3700G should be approved.

MOTH (concerned citizen) asked for the moon (even more than listed above) but has retracted this to 4400G for all factories and the aquaduct.

My goodness. That is a lot, lot, lot, lot of money for upgrades. Let's ask ourselves, is it totally necessary that we rush factories in every town in Itakaji? There's nothing wrong with rushing the aqueduct, but do we really need to spend all this money for factories? Perhaps we could wait a little while for the towns to knock down the price, but rushing all those buildings right now just seems excessive.

Uh, where's the link to the discussion on this and the relevant facts? I am all for rushing some Cultural improvements (blind), and I'm sure that rushing Factories can only help, but I think I need more info.

This is our second core. Of the 6 cities in Itakaji, only five are being considered for factories. These 5 will each be highly productive once the factories are built and the Dam finishes in 6 turns.

Thank you, MOTH. Now that I'm caught up on discussion, I need to check the save to find out how much gold we'll have after the MSAV upgrades, then I'll add in - what? 300g for our trade income, plus our gross gpt and see how it ll shakes out.

I understand the importance you're putting on these improvements and I appreciate all this work, I'm just not sure we can afford all of this. Back in a bit.

Yeah, we can afford the 4400g and more. I don't see a problem with this (other than air pollution).

EDIT: I voted for the 4400g (all Factories and Aqueduct). I didn't think I needed to vote in the upper part of the poll. If you need the votes up there, just add them for me.

I'm all for the aqueducts but I have my reservations about the factories. As for money issue, we can afford all of this and more.

Come on people, vote. Only 11 people have voted. This is the heart of our second core. The factories will kickstart this province into high productivity.

Taking into account Cyc's comment, the aquaduct and 3 factories currently have 6 out of 11 votes.

Aquaduct Rushed. Factory in Roma MMed to finish in 9, no Rush. Factories in Waka and Baldur still under consideratrion for Turn 5 as of Turn 0.

Final Interpretation of this poll (taking into acount Cyc's post):

55% approval for: Aquaduct in Ominato and Factories in Roma, Wakashio, and Baldur's Gate.

63% approval for 3700G budget allocation.

I will review the current build situtation in Itakaji and make revised requests in the FCC thread.
