Feature Attack?

Explored village went hostile and my warrior got attacked by a barbarian warrior. I got +25% from plot defense (Jungle) but additionally the attacker got -10% "feature attack". Difficulty is immortal.
Please someone more educated enlighten me what does the penalty mean...?

Were you near Odios prison? I think that gives a strength bonus, which could have been applied as a negative for the opposition.

Barbarians are by default Orks. The Orkish racial promotion gives +10% in jungles for both attack and defense.

Odio's prison was some 4 tiles away. I don't remember now, but I doubt it does work in such a distance.
Might be Orcish, but would it be listed as "feature attack" in the combat log?

Jungles are features, so yes
