HI all-
D/l 0.50 but can't seem to get by turn 1. Tried Single Player as Svartalfar, and Scions:

Svartalfar seemed to be the worst of them. 3 times I tried: As soon as I planted the first settler, CTD.

Also tried Scions (as Risen Emperor) and once I clicked on the AT, it CTD'd.

Multiplayer (as Hot Seat) as a combo of a both of these with 1 other (Tried Bannor and Archos) same result
Happy to share info- Folks in the know (with the know?) just need to tell me where to look and what to post:p

Mods- Feel free to take ownership of the thread or move if need be, and please sticky. ;)

tried a short game with the dural, played just a few turns.
worked for me so far withaout ctds, but i notived some bugs.
1. tracking text key is missing
2. pact of the nilhorn doesn't give the stooges
3. the event log (or whatever it is called) doesn't seem to properly erase old news so that the new ones appear above them, that means they sort of overlay.
4. If you research... lets say calendar so you can build plantations faster, without researching mining to chop down forests, it is actually faster to build the improvement in the forest and chop it down as a sideeffect than chopping it down on itself. 7 turns for plantation and 21 turn for chopping in my game

I turned off 'place all uniques' and turned off 'broader alignments' and we seem to be OK.

EDIT: Seem to still have the issue in MP hotseat. Will try other leaders to see if repeatable. -Z

Edit 2: Definitely repeatable, and seems to be limited to svartalfar in both MP and SP. Soon as first settler placed, boom. Successful with more than 1 turn with Scions/Archos, and Scions/Sidar

now off to game :)

Quite a few bugs in some of my experimenting.

Is it really correct that hell oceans spawn Iras? they are supposed to be spawned only by the Avatar of Wrath. I also have had some hellfires popping up seemingly randomly.
The graphic for horned dread is lost whenever the unit enters the haunted lands. you might have to make horned dread promotion remove the ghostwalker only hauntstalk promotion.
Is it correct that quite a few master equipment promotions require one of the metals but are removed by iron and mithril?

Mod Can not be installed for german users, see the main thread (download and changelog, last page) for screenshots.

I'm boggled I hadn't seen that - what you propose sounds like a good solution. Anything wanted from Hauntstalk can be included in HD.

Yes. A lot of the promotions are supposed to be modifications to the particular set of weapons the unit has. When you trade up to a new weapons - a new metal - the old promotions are lost. "High Quality Bronze" is lost when you trade in your Bronze Weapons, for example. But the same thing applies to "Barbed Weapons", IIRC, and many others.

I was also getting a CTD my first game when I tried to end my first turn as Scions, playing against 9 random civs. This was repeatable after rebooting and loading the initial save, same CTD. Starting a second game with same settings hasn't given me any CTDs yet, might have had something to do with one of the random civs.

Also getting the same forest chopping bug mentioned above, I have mining but not bronze working so it takes 41 turns for my worker to chop a forest/hill, but only 12 turns to build a mine (chopping the forest in the process).

I've noticed a couple bugs but most have already been referenced above. One that wasn't, at least I think it's a bug, even after researching exploration it takes forever to build roads outside of my territory. It's four turns inside and about 30 outside my borders.

I got a seemly random CtD in my first game, and then started over.

I just got the message that Cernnunos has created Brigit. I think that an animal freed her, but it seems way to early for one to actually have the needed levels.

Also, I'm wondering what happens when Brigit dies while belonging to a civ without a capital. Does she respawn on the spot she was first created like the Horsemen/Avatar do? Is she just destroyed? Does it cause a crash.

Yep- Still getting CTDs too... wondering if its either MP (as hot seat) or Scions, since I got to ~ 20 turns with Clan of Embers as SP with no problems.
Still digging... -Z

I just found a demonic city early on. It had no size displayed, no city art, etc. It was guarded by a Gargoyle from the nearby Guardian of the Prinstinus pass.

Oh, I forgot to mention. A great prophet was born in a faraway land on turn 4. Somehow that doesn't seem quite right.

Playing as Scions (Risen Emperor), I'm able to upgrade my still-shackled Korinna the Protector into Korinna the Red Lady. She still has the shackled promotion for -1 movement, but since the Red has 2 base movement, she winds up with 1 movement and can move while still shackled. Not that I'm complaining, but this has changed since last version when I wasn't able to upgrade Korinna until the shackles were removed, is it intended to work this way now?

Edit - and another bug, after upgrading Korinna I'm able to build the "Shrine of the Champion", I guess because Korinna the Protector is "dead" now and replaced by the Red Lady. Another change since last version that I can't complain about but I wonder if it's intended.

As the Scions of Patria, two bits, might be balance issues.
Explored a lair on turn five or so, got a Death Knight with Death I. Getting a 12:strength: unit when your neighbors only have warriors? Let's say the Luchiurp didn't last long. I heard the "barbarian village" sound play, so I'm wondering if it wasn't supposed to be a barbarian unit.
Secondly, should River of Blood really effect Fallow civs? I mean... ouch.

I seem to be having trouble playing as the Svartalfar on advance start. The interface starts blinking and a window called "Map Mode" appears on the top left. Every other civ seems to work fine.
